As every wave is never the same, God sends changes in our life. And when He is reflected in our lives we shimmer as waves in the closing of a day.
A friend of mine took the picture of me by the water (my profile pic) and the moment I looked at it again a year later and it just hit me how profound nature is. God really can speak to us through it in amazing ways. And as I am preparing for my trip to Poland I keep having to remember that the only shimmer possible in my life is the shimmer of Jesus Christ. I pray that as I continue in this journey that I will trust in God and remember that He has been preparing me for this. I have waited and prayed for this opportunity since my first experience going over seas and God has answered my prayers. Not the way I expected, but the excitement of knowing that He has plans for me and also knowing that everything I have gone through in the past has made me a better person that God can use. Please pray for me in my new journey, that I will let God shimmer through me.
