So here was an adventure. Let me tell you. One of our friends, Adrian, told us that he wanted to take us golfing on Sunday one day. And we were like sure! We'd love that. So we went, all with a crisp green lawn in mind. But that Sunday, when Adrian turned on to a dirt road into the woods, we were all sure that we had miscalculated his friendship status. We all looked at each other with looks of "Guns are illegal here right???........" He finally parked somewhere after almost getting stuck 3 times to the place shown below. He got out of the car. Took an umbrella. Found a sandy hill a lot of meters away, walked back and said "try to hit the umbrella." With our mouths gaping open, we accepted a golf club and Chase preceded to "hit the umbrella." Let me tell you I have never had so much fun in my life. It was so hard!! We kept teasing Adrian that we thought he took us out here to shoot us. Especially after we found some bones in a trench nearby. haha but they were confirmed as animal bones. No worries!! :D
Adrian walking to put umbrella somewhere.
Still walking.
And Still yet..
Chase taking his shot.
Chase and I with our successful shot. And would like to also say here that we never lost a ball. An accomplishment for even posh golf ball players. ;D
Adrian trying his hand at it.
The umbrella that seemed impossible to hit.
Sharing golf club hah.
There were the coolest plants at this place. I really liked the terrain. I spent a few minutes of my waiting in turn time looking at plants. Yes I am my mothers daughter at times.
Julia missing the ball. ha! Don't tell her I said that!
Here you will notice some pushing going on here. A technique that became popular towards the end of our game. Notice the term "technique," not "cheating."
A cool baby mushroom.
Trench with animal bones haha.
Animal bones if you can see them.
Us accomplishing our first round.
More cool plants.
:D
A cute mushroom that can kill you! awwww!
:D
I often missed and made dirt fly. Ah yes that always seems more funny if your not the person doing it.
Chase doing the pushing technique out of the trench of death.
Adrian wasn't doing so well. Kinda stuck in some bushes. XD
Chase smiling conspiratorially as he walked towards his ball. "Yes, I will do my technique behind this bush."
The P technique.
P technique falling
An amateur P technique-r
Us looking for a lost ball. haha
Me winning of course.
haha me missing the ball.
Chase finding the perfect level.
We found a rancid old couch. You find weird things in forests I've noticed.
Bleh.
Ah yes the dirt flies high but your ball stays low.
Pretty sure I went home with darker hair then when I came.
I would like to mention here that we were at a bah-hahing area. Looked like a lot of fun. Julia had someone run over her ball though. :D
And she swings!!
And she misses!!!
But a nice smile to show :D
Julia's run over ball.
Julia's serious look. She's getting into this now!
We were often in the bushes as you can see.
This was our last place on our course. It was a duzy! We lost our balls in this puddle a couple of times!
stretch!!
Dirty dirty feet.
The last hole.
Very muddy shoes. Those socks use to be white.
And all the mushrooms we found during the golf game. Was a productive day!
Bye fun golfing place!
After our hard work we went to get a treat! This place has awesome ice cream and anything else that is sweet!
Chase and I didn't have our food yet. As you can see from our faces. :P
And its gone. Was good while it lasted!!
